Born from the Google Gemini API Hackathon, Glöd AI is a platform designed to democratize high-end marketing video creation.

The goal was simple: upload product photos, descriptions, and dimensions, and get a professional 1-minute marketing video in return.

Technical Architecture

Our team built a robust, full-stack platform in a high-pressure hackathon environment.

Components:

• Core AI: Leveraging the Google Gemini API for content generation and scene planning.
• Backend: FastAPI lead by Yirang Lim, managing model orchestration and state.
• Frontend: React lead by Henry Cho, featuring a polished UI/UX for video customization.
• Fullstack Integration: Seamless synchronization between video generation models and user-facing controls.
