G-Travel: AI Itinerary Planner

Traveling requires planning, and planning is stressful. G-Travel was our solution to the "analysis paralysis" of travel booking, built for the Google AI Hackathon.

The Project

Leading a team of 10, I helped build a comprehensive travel planner that takes a user's prompt (e.g., "A romantic weekend in Paris under $2000") and generates a full itinerary.

Key Features

• Gemini Integration: Utilizing Gemini's multi-modal capabilities to understand user intent and suggest visually relevant destinations.
• Real-Time Data: Integration with flights and hotel APIs to provide actionable booking options.
• Dynamic UI: A React-based interface that updates the map and schedule in real-time as the AI generates the plan.

My Role

As the technical product lead, I coordinated the efforts between the frontend, backend, and AI engineering teams to ensure a cohesive 48-hour sprint.
